Autonomous Solar Robot
NLEPC Selected Project: Robotics & Renewable Energy
This project was a significant milestone in my journey, selected for the National Level Exhibition and Project Competition (NLEPC). It involved designing and developing a solar-powered autonomous robot capable of intelligent navigation and efficient energy utilization.
Project Highlights:
- Solar Tracking: Implemented a dual-axis solar tracking system to maximize energy absorption by aligning panels with the sun's position.
- Autonomous Navigation: Utilized ultrasonic sensors and Arduino-based logic to detect obstacles and navigate terrain without human intervention.
- Sustainable Design: Focused on renewable energy integration to create a self-sustaining robotic system.
- Complex Integration: Successfully combined mechanical engineering, electronics, and software programming into a cohesive functional unit.
Technologies Used:
- Arduino Microcontrollers
- C++ for Embedded Systems
- Ultrasonic Sensors & Servo Motors
- Solar Photovoltaic Cells
